Update! by Ice Cream Jonsey 11/21/2011, 9:49am PST
So, my BIOS is showing that only 4 GB of my 8GB of RAM is coming up on the boot screen.

Windows 7 says I have 8 GB of RAM, but only 3.99 is usable.

My motherboard BIOS was two years out of date, so I updated. It didn't solve the RAM issue - still says 4 gigs on boot, ha ha ha! - but now I have to hit F1 every time I start my computer because it thinks my CPU has overheated. (It has not, nor will it ever.)

Not in need of a solution to any of this bullshit, as I'll figure it out. Just venting.

You'll need to set it to 1.6 and hope the lower voltage set doesn't fry by Entropy Stew 11/18/2011, 7:56am PST NEW
Just set the RAM settings in BIOS to auto. Or is it a trick question? by Eurotrash 11/18/2011, 2:22pm PST NEW

I know setting to 1.6V is technically the correct thing to do. I'd just throw in by Eurotrash 11/20/2011, 8:50am PST NEW
