Introduces the "Weak 'n Shit" theory of CEOs granting themselves bonuses when the company is failing. This video came out in 2007, but I'm really entertained by his choice of comparing the gang footsoldier willing to work a dangerous and shitty job 24/7/365 in the hopes of eventually becoming an upper level member of the gang who rakes in a large salary to the concept of the young lawyer willing to work 80 hour a week high stress jobs for a firm in the hopes of one day making partner, only for the bottom to fall out of the market and those hopes to fizzle. It's also worth nothing, after watching that video, that "Clockers" is on Netflix Instant. |
