My old opinion: win-win for me when he took over from Orton, since either we'd win some games or he'd be an NFL washout and we could stop talking about him.
New opinion: Tebow is literally the nicest guy in the world, and despite any dumb opinions he may have, I'd like to see him succeed long term. Also, we've now won more games this year than I expected, so what's not to love. Playoffs would be a bonus (and we'll get killed in the first round).
Also the string of wins we've had is among the most improbable and bizarre in Broncos history, probably NFL history. I never picked us to win any of those games, except the Bears game, and then I was SURE toward the end that we'd actually be shut out at home. That was amazing.
I'm hopeful that working with Elway in the offseason will help him complete a few more passes next season. Related: how about that Cam Newton? O_O |
