“It’s been a dream of ours to recreate X-COM with our unique creative vision. We’re huge fans of the original game and it’s a once in a lifetime opportunity to re-envision a game that is as beloved as X-COM. We were careful to keep XCOM: Enemy Unknown true to the elements that made X-COM such a revered game while delivering an entirely new story and gameplay experience for both die-hard X-COM fans and newcomers to the franchise.”
We... er, wait, "a new" ... we don't want ... there is already Silent Storm... nobody wants.... jesus christ, Sid. Nobody gives a shit about anyone's "unique vision" when it comes to X-COM.
Make the interface for equipping soldiers better, keep it completely 2D unless you can implement fully destructible terrain and buildings, give us new shapes, sizes and races for the soldiers (meaning like Indian, Jew and Hispanic, not elves, dwarves and orcs) and reflect the new nations the world has now.
Nobody wants a new fucking gameplay experience. We want the exact goddamn game everyone already likes to run nicely in 1920x1080 on Windows 7 and Ubuntu. Motherfuckers! God, X-COM turns otherwise bright people into stupid, smarmy assholes.
the dark and gritty...Ice Cream Jonsey! |
