Caltrops - Star Trek Online - it was ok but I don't think I will be playing it again

my 2 main issues:

1. still too many mmo tropes, ships are broken down into tank healer dps roles for no good reason, I get a totally worthless "minefield" cooldown during away missions that will never be useful. I get to see people running around a star base, that's the only reason this is an online game

2. controls are extremely buggy, trying to get into and out of the aiming mode, weapon mode, zoom mode, crouch mode, fuck you mode, and if you hit any of these when you shouldn't it sticks you into a fucked up stance and prevents you from moving properly until you enter weapon mode and toggle off aiming mode but not with the button you bound because that only activates it it doesn't toggle the toggle feature even tho it's bound to toggle WHAT THE FUCK

overall it's not a terrible game, but aside from the decent ship to ship combat and the slight thrill of beaming an away team over to a derelict ship to grab some loot and shoot some raiders, there just isn't much reason to play this over any other game
