BBC World Service radio, during its Newshour program, had a short piece about passwords and how we use them in accessing websites, particularly with ones containing sensitive information such as our credit card numbers.
What was interersting was they ran a segment from a 1940s Marx Brothers' movie called "Monkey Business" where the guy is telling someone that they can't come in unless they tell him the password swordfish. This, of course, defeats the whole purpose of requiring a password.
The thing that got me was, that was where they got the term from for the John Travolta and Halle Berry film "Swordfish". |
