I enjoyed the crap out of "Red Mars" by Kim Stanley Robinson by Fullofkitttens 04/05/2012, 2:27pm PDT
Not cyberpunk, it's hard sci fi, all about the colonization of Mars. The only negative point is that he employed a goofy gimmick to get some continuity of characters throughout the trilogy and it rings really untrue compared to the really cool sciencey ideas throughout the rest of the book.

If you didn't read David Wong's book John Dies at the End already, you'd probably enjoy it...?
