Capital One is running an ad where Jimmy Fallon says how everyone likes 50% more cash, except, of course, for this one baby that - for some unforeseeable reason - he's trying to convince.
He's facing this baby and - after turning his head - discovers the baby has spelled "boring" on his tray with Cheerios, but with the words spelled facing Fallon. In short, the words are facing Fallon and are upside down to the baby, which means Fallon has no reason to turn his head upside down to read them, they were spelled to be readable from the position facing the baby. And even if the baby were able to spell, the baby would have most likely spelled the words toward itself and upsaide down to Fallon, in which case his looking upside down to read them would have made sense.
I've known Capital One is a sleazy and corrupt organization for years, and now we can add stupid. I saw a video on YouTube, that thousands of people who had Chapter 7 bankruptcy cases completed, were getting demands from Capital One for repayment. Not a few cases, thousands. In fact, the video reports more than 800 people had sued Capital One over their attempts to illegally collect a debt discharged by bankruptcy. Capital one calls it a mistake. Yeah, right. I had a secured card with them and lost my job and ran out of money. No, they can't simply cancel my deposit account and use it to clear the amount due. At least, not until the card runs up hundreds of dollars in fees and interest for non-payment, then they set-off the original balance and sued me for the unpaid fees. |
