| I once posted a message to a Usenet newsgroup about some subject, I think it might have had something to do with gays. It was probably back when I was ignorant and uninformed and saw sexual orientation as a choice or otherwise saw someone who as gay as having some sort of psychological problem. Well, anyway, a woman wrote me an e-mail where I gather she wanted to tell me she disagreed with my opinions. At least that's what I think she meant.
I did not know this woman and had never heard from her before. But apparently she knew something about me, because the first three words of her e-mail read as follows: "You fucking bastard..." I think she was giving me too much credit. I've generally tended to be a nice guy; I've never really been mean enough to be a good bastard. Though one guy on a BBS called me a fascist once. |
