I have an alias domain at paul-robinson.us that I use to run my blog and forwards mail to a mailbox on Yahoo Mail.
I have an alias domain for my sister in her name, so that mail sent to her is forwarded to her mailbox on Gmail. However, if someone on Gmail sends a message to her domain name, Gmail discards the message without putting it in her mailbox. Now, I know it's Gmail because I had a responder put on her domain's mail processor and it sends back the response, and mail sent from other domains gets through, but mail sent from a Gmail address to her domain name is silently discarded.
