Besides a kickass game, DMC3 is pretty cleverly put together. One of my favorite parts is near the end where you descend into hell. You're expecting the usual caves and flames and screaming people but instead the first thing you see is this bright heavenly panorama with choir singing in the background and a massive white romanesque city in the background. You're in Limbo, the city of the virtuous unbaptised, and the outermost layer of hell from dante's inferno. That's a hell of a lot cleverer than anything in diablo. |
