Why does Microsoft, arugably, the most successful corporation in the history of the planet, with a near-monopoly on online play, need to squeeze "tens of thousands" of dollars out of people for a patch? This is the most greedy and desperate thing I've ever seen from them.
How about they charge no money from patches? Layoff all the teams working on UIs for the 360 and just make patches free forever. I am leading a software revolution in the middle of this post. Er, end of this post.
