Caltrops - Ultima 5: Lazarus - I kept expecting him to say "and then he played this game and died"

As much as I like video games, tabletop rpgs, comics and movies, I'm just not as invested as this kid. I feel exactly the same way about final fantasy he does, I have played every one since seven but never for more than probably 10 hours (each? total? I stop when I get bored so like some of them last an hour) and I don't ever go back and try them again. I wasn't really that broken up about pool of radiance 2 being horrible. I'm trying to think of something I even liked enough as a kid to be angry if the remake was bad, but on some level all hollywood movies, every comic, every video game, and certainly tabletop rpgs (which are all made by semi-amateurs anyway) cut corners or straight-up fail in often multiple ways, so the feigned shock always comes off as kind of insecure attention whoring.

I definitely get the frustration, though, I know a lot of people like this irl. A lot of his act is for effect but at a basic level they get frustrated that other people don't care as much about a thing as they do, and the thing that gets them all animated like this is when the people who make the thing appear not to care about it either, because that's pretty much a crime I guess. They never say that though, it's always this spittle spraying rant about Uncle Gaben's Online Candy Van raping their inner child or some bullshit.

45 minutes of that is wicked tiring, unlike this other thing which is pretty goddamned funny, and just like an actual jets-pats game
