Yes, Google developed their own PDF reader for Chrome. It's pretty minimal, though not as much as it once was (they finally got around to adding a rotate function this year). It has compatibility issues but it handles 99% of the PDFs I throw at it with no issues. In fact the only problems I've ever had are with PDF forms.
