You can change everything in the config file, including disabling slowmo, turning options on and off selectively, etc. Here's how I got the game to display at full resolution:

GFX_DSCREEN_WIDTH=160
GFX_DSCREEN_HEIGHT=90

FX_SCREEN_WIDTH=1920
GFX_SCREEN_HEIGHT=1080
