The first movie was clumsy but at least followed little things like "plot" and "pacing" with some great evil world and monster moments.
This sequel seems like it was literally written over a single weekend by the director who's made nothing but the kind of low budget european horror movies you find on Netflix all the time. One weekend of scribbling down the first ideas to come into his head with lots of "and then...and then...and then...". Oh fuck two characters have to have a conversation let's get this over with quick! OH SHIT MAN SPIDERS AND DOLLS QUICK WRITE THIS DOWN.
