| I wasn't really crazy about the direction most of them took. What makes the shops especially impenetrable in Dota/ealth for that and you can't scan the item descriptions in the middle of a game so your only option is to memorize everything. LoL fixed this by making items mostly about the stats with special effects as a small bonus. But now all these new items are all about the special effect.
Fortunately, most of them seem like crap not worth getting. The new Black Cleaver is gloriously overpowered. I like the major changes they made to the mastery trees. The best masteries used to be in the first two tiers of each tree, so everyone just spread points out into the same ones every game. Now you actually have to invest into one tree to get to the good stuff. Been trying Dota 2 a little more and dominating everything with the new broken Slark hero. You get two escapes on low cooldowns, a leap+snare in one ability, great creep farming ability, a low cooldown stealth, fast map movement, and you will always be at full health without buying a single regen item. |
