The Lookout has been the only character so far where it feels like being discovered doesn't come down to blind luck. The Gentleman has been next for usefulness. The mole can't tell if he's popping out on a guard and hacking is too much of a pain to keep track of. The pickpocket is just a handicap to increase your score.

Too often I resort to the "fuck it" strategy which has usually been the watermark for when a stealth game has failed.

I still can't quite tell how guard sight and sound works, or the level of protection disguises give you.
