It's just more Company of Heroes. The bonfire/blizzard dynamic is actually pretty cool (LOL) because it creates a minute or so of enforced peace to gather your wits or try a risky maneuver under the cover of snow. The whole TruSight (R)(TM) thing didn't seem relevant very often.
What little enthusiasm I had died when I heard that the awful people that like to sit on their asses and tech to mega tanx convinced Relic to slow VP bleed to the point that it makes more sense to ignore VPs and directly attack their HQ. I still play DoW2 and every once in a while the same whyyyyy doesn't anyone like this game anymore discussion pops up, and the usual culprits get thrown around (bugs, GFWL, lame selection of maps and game modes at release), but I think the answer is more fundamental: people like to sit on their asses, build fortifications, and tech, and DoW2 doesn't let you do that. |
