I was asked to write some reviews of the games nominated for "Best Writing" in this year's XYZZY Awards. It was the least I could do, as one of my games got a whoooole lot of reviews from very nice people last year.
Anyway, here is a link that you can read that has the reviews I did for the four games in that category.
(Not all of these are Zork-like parser-based text adventures. I'm against parser and non-parser games competing in the same space, but that ship has pretty much sailed.)
