| I'm kinda disappointed. There's very little actual canvassing strategy beyond the ask amount. At the very least you should be able to ask the focusing question "are you with us on the issue?" to get a hint from the potential giver what topic of response would be most interesting to them.
And what's with the pussy asks? $5, $30, and $100 max? I've gotten donations in the high triple digits and I have seen canvassers come home with quadruple digit donations. IN A SWING STATE YOU COASTAL CHERRY PICKERS! Then again I was a door canvasser and maybe street canvassing is a whole different world. By the way, fuck Jeanne Garofalo. |
