It was the only "reality" show we'd watch religiously, superficially because I'd drink during it and we could laugh about "playing the home game", but truly because I was supposed to end up on it some day.
A fantastic program that actually did some real good for a lot of people.
There has never been a moment in television with more tension than the end of the episode when it would fade to white and you'd wait to read what happened to them. And often no more poignant moment than when they stayed in rehab and came back smiling.
