Anna Gunn had to write about this, I guess because some people are so... dark in their hatred of her character.
I never disliked Skyler, but I found her to be a foolish, frivolous woman. I decided she must be a simpleton woman, below average to average IQ, married to a genius. Now, I've read her character was conceived to be having matching wits with Walt. I never believed that--until she found out. That's what confuses me about the hate for Skyler, she became a lot more interesting--could do more and greater things when she was in on it. Maybe it was because she could be a constant source of conflict for Walt before, and that trope gets tired?
Anyway, the same is true for Junior. He was the guy who liked breakfast, MEMES. Then he had a great scene when he finds out. Hey, that kid can actually act!
