no surprises? ...... come on man
Really surprising how they tied up all those loose ends in a straightforward fashion. How many of the characters who died in this episode, aside from Walt, were introduced this season?
walt admitting he did it all for himself
This was wonderful, but honestly, it comes very close to being just another issue they resolved
leaving the watch jesse gave him
yeah, why
the ricin being for lydia
I was fucking blown away when the character introduced this season who won't drink tea without dumping white powder in it first ends up taking the ricin.
todd getting strangled
He deserved worse.
through all this, walt and jesse still managing to leave on good terms
Those terms being the very first cliched exchanges that pop to mind when writing a scene where one guy is pointing a gun at another.
hank and gomey's burial spot revealed
It's great how they tied that in with her being able to make a deal, but they already tied that one up in Ozymandias then untied it in Granite State so they could tie it again (never mind there's no one alive to prosecute).
I don't mean to be so negative, the opening was maybe the best moment in the show for me since Walt punching the paper towel dispenser. I'm happy they used the idea of laundering Walt's trust through Eliot and Gretchen, even if they didn't take the opportunity for Walt to confront them about their history together. I was still let down. This season was like watching a Top 10 Westerns marathon where The Wild Bunch is #3 and #1 is The Shootist. |

If the final episode lives up to this build-up, TV will be complete. (SPOILERS) by Rafiki 09/15/2013, 7:18pm PDT
