Yeah, the thing I had always wanted was in-game integration of the text, and it now has it. Someone had the source code to Wasteland. I assume someone started with the original graphics and smoothed them over in Photoshop... but yeah, the text not looking all Commodore 64ish is a huge improvement. This rework makes me happy.
What does not make me happy is playing the opener for the 4th time in my life. I really need to get far enough into the game where going backwards is simply not acceptable.
