| So, I'm on Reddit two seconds ago. A guy says he released a game to Steam Early Access and someone sent him a screenshot of a three monitor setup playing his game. Cool.
You have to scroll down half of the page to get the name of the fucking game. I assume that the mods don't want you "advertising" your game on Reddit/r/gaming, even though Reddit is a meritocracy of sorts and it wouldn't be on that page if it wasn't cool. I say that to say this: if you guys are out there making games, post about them on Caltrops. I will make you a sub forum. You can update it 1,000 times a day with info, I don't care. If 90% of the site content is coming from your base then I'll adjust the front page RSS, but I seriously hope everyone feels empowered to promote the games they are making and want feedback on. (Plus I'm sure as shit going to do it with Cyberganked towards the end of the year.) Anyway, feel free to post screenshots of your game, Lurker (x)! I'm looking forward to giving it a play. ICJ |
