"Before I played it, I fully expected to find the whole thing a bit offensive for my tastes."
That's not just Wolfenstein, that's ALL GAMES.
That's his entire life, if you replace "played it" with "woke up".
"I also expected to spend half my write-up last week worrying about the morality of it. But I have to say my brain recoils from even beginning that analysis. I want to be allowed to enjoy this, but I know that it is in many ways problematic. We make a cage for ourselves."
That's— nobody actually wrote that.
How the fuck did this become the go-to website for PC games again?

I WANT TO BE ALLOWED TO ENJOY THIS
PLEASE SOMEONE SAY I CAN ENJOY THIS, I AM AN EMOTIONAL INVALID

They are using that word in all seriousness.
"As much as anything else, it’s all over far too quickly to matter."
What the fuck?
They wanted the last scene of Game of Thrones on Sunday to take 50 minutes I guess.
You could watch the entire Godfather trilogy at least once or twice in the time it takes-- nnngh
"It's hard to get anything meaningful out of something that only takes TEN FUCKING HOURS."
... The site was basically a giant HORIZON ad for two weeks. Then it came out. No reviews on it, but the ads went away. Huh! Wonder why they chose to not say wot they thinked of THAT particular product?
