No clue what maps or campaigns or whatever to pick so I picked "competitive" knowing I wouldn't be in my league but I didn't care, last time I played CSGO it wasn't too bad actually. Friendly fire on, long rounds, objective based blah blah.
So I get in, we're getting stomped by the other team, a child begins screaming over mic OH MY GOD YOU'RE ALL RETARDED JUST DRINK BLEACH any time any of us are killed, naturally he's getting killed too, sometimes he dies first getting sniped or otherwise picked off, but he's constantly screaming at us. Me and other guy make fun of him about how he's crying. In between team swap round the enemy team hears him crying and makes fun of his voice. He begins shooting teammates, yelling JUST KICK ME YOU GUYS SUCK YOU GUYS ARE RETARDED UGH KICK ME JUST PLEASE START A VOTE YOU'RE RETARDED and whenever I'd die (especially from something easily avoided) he would scream especially loud which made getting killed so worth it. I actually topped our entire team somehow (seemed oddly easy to get kills even though the game hasn't changed much, think I was a little lucky too but I got some skills) and he was at the bottom of the scoreboard most of the game until the very end when he got like 5 kills.
Oddly enough this didn't sour me on playing more, though it does remind me exactly of why I quit. |
