I never played MULE, but this is unofficially marketed as "MULE on steroids (and on Mars)". In practice, it's an RTS where you fight by buying plots, building resources, buying low and selling high, while occasionally paying off pirates or buying nukes to put your opponents buildings out of order and various other positive/negative effects.
Even in bare bones mode there is something very compelling about it. I enjoy buying out my opponent's companies. I enjoy buying low and selling high.
I enjoy Mars. |
