I'm not sure I blame it. This is the second game in a row this week that I've tried, appreciated the hell out of, and then realized I wasn't enjoying.
Maybe I don't like games anymore.
A:I looks great, sounds great, is a love letter to the original movie and all who treasure it. And yet it's still stuck in FPS-land (minus most of the guns). Triggered, scripted events. Sporadic saves. Unskippable intro credits. Lame "minigames" to bypass security. A convoluted story which always boils down to "damn, this isn't the place either, the princess must be in the next castle!"
I dunno. Is it me? C'mon, folks, I'm giving you negative reviews of well-received games. I'm working with you, here.
