Open to all suggestions but based on what's available locally I was deciding between Muay Thai and Krav Maga. I was heavily leaning towards Krav Maga until, in the space of one week, I overheard two separate conversations where waif chicks were going on about how great their KM class was because "It was designed to work for anyone! It doesn't matter how big or strong you are!" That got me paranoid that the whole thing is just a glorified jazzercise fitness class (even if the actual style isn't, it might be taught that way by lazy hack instructors here).

The only option here is signing up for five 1 hour classes for $150, which seems a bit steep so I wanted to make sure on anything I should know or look for.
