Tried the gamma tonight. Had put the game away for a few months just to let it simmer.

You know what, the thing is, no matter what I say or think, I know someone somewhere (probably Tom Chick) will give it a 6.5 or something. So what's the point. Chat rooms will be crying and whining about this and that. No matter what it is. Someone will probably say "the original was better." So what's the GOD DAMNED POINT.
This is not "a good attempt at making a space sim game."
This is BOUNDS above anything, I think, that has ever been accomplished with "PC gaming". Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe I'm not seeing why this isn't the most amazing thing that has ever existed. I'm sure someone here will be happy to tell me.
But Christ. I'm at a loss for fucking words.
