I can't help it, I must try every brawler on the PC, tons of people swear this game is an underappreciated gem, and it was going for deep (dick) discount on gog.

Step into attack range, back up, enemy whiffs, counter attack. Repeat until the enemy is dead. This game makes Enclave look like Severance: Blade of Darkness.

NEGATIVE!

Not because co-op, but because it takes the number of enemies and multiplies it by 10 or more and adds mini-bosses (scaled up regular enemies with more health and reach). The combat is still fundamentally simplistic but there's something quite nice about the precise hit detection and deliberate speed of attacks in this game. When you decapitate a dwarf on the backswing of your axe by stepping forward at just the right moment so it clears the top of his shield, it's good shit.

The original singleplayer campaign is utter garbage. You know the bloodlust meter you fill by inflicting damage? The one that slowly drains when you're not doing damage? I think it's literally impossible to ever fill it up. The devs built an inverse boredom detector into their game and completely ignored it.
