There once was a neighbor in my apartment building that I met one day (along with her boyfriend) when I got locked out. She had a gigantic closet with pretty much every single MST3k episode on tape and dvd and insisted on watching Manos some time. A week or two of MST3k viewing and "interviews" followed, and things were great.
Then one night she's pounding at my window before sobbing and collapsing. I get to drag her out of the freezing rain, see the empty vodka bottle on her desk, listen to her repeat over and over again how her boyfriend doesn't love her anymore and she wants to die, clean up the puddle of puke that her hair soaked up half of, then finally freak the fuck out when her rapid breathing suddenly stops and she goes limp with her eyes wide open. 911 call, ambulance hauls her away. Left a note on the door for her roomates "[Name] went to hospital - your neighbor". Then I went to play some C&C: Generals online ^_^
