Honestly, I'm not certain I have the time to properly enjoy it, and in the last few years my taste for games has evolved so that I'm not sure what I will and won't enjoy. It looks like either the type of game to suck me in for 100+ hours, or the type to finally force me to accept that I'm not the gamer I used to be. I fear either conclusion, so instead I've just sat here wondering.
I invested in Star Citizen, and have been wondering since if I'll ever even get my money's worth from that. Elite looks great, but I've not played any of the games like it (other than Freelancer back in the day). It seems like the type of game I want to fall into, to explore and perform menial tasks and just enjoy the scenery. It's just not guaranteed that I'll get sucked in like I hope.
If you don't buy me it, I suppose I'll buy it some day, but probably not this day. |
