or "break the lyrium" or any of that shit. The war map stuff I would more classify as "mobile game" stuff, but you can set your clock forward so who cares.
I don't know if I'm just wired to hate games or what, but the filler (is this the right word?) shit kind of wears on me. I feel like a lot of it could have just been cut in favor of actual quests and actual content. Maybe I'm falling into a false dilemma here, and actually we got just as much story content and the grindy shit is just icing on the cake.
Though lots of it is fantastic and I'm really enjoying it so far. Good on them for not making every romance option bi, good on them for having interesting NPCs again, and I guess good on them for trying something different. Even if the MMO feeling is in full effect here, at least some zones feel cool.
I think the biggest issue is fear that somehow story quests are going to make you miss out on shit. |
