Pixies have a new album out, by the way. It is amazingly and surprisingly terrible. I have a bunch of dumb thoughts about why it is terrible, but nothing in them compares to this spectacle: the guy that wrote all the songs on Doolittle can PSH like this about it and then turn around and make a very bad album. It's very frustrating, as a rapidly aging person, to assume that the problem is that 20-somethings clearly make better music than 40-somethings, but it just keeps happening. |
