Holy shit. This is the version that is supposed to show her in a good light since it's written by her. Besides having no idea what the term catfish refers to, she stalked a lady who wrote a bad review of her book (which sounds terrible). What's even more bizarre is that some people give her sympathy. Aren't you at least supposed to claim to have death threats before we start doling out pity for getting tweets? Oh and nepotism is why anyone knows who she is.
She does have some people in her corner, according to Jezebel, including Hale's fiancée, Simon Rich, a writer for SNL and the New Yorker, his father, the famous New York Times writer and critic, Frank Rich, and her fiancée's mother, Gail Winston, an executive at Hale's publisher, Harper Collins.
