| It's just, you guys are on another level. As long as I've been playing games, and as old as I am, it all still seems fun to click on shit and make dragons burn stuff, regardless of AI considerations, regardless of "game design", etc. I guess that's why I like stuff, I'm not smart enough to realize why it sucks.
I'm not making a point here. I'm not saying who's better or worse, though I'd guess you are better. I realize we're just having different conversations. I fired up Beyond Earth again two days ago and was totally hooked in again for about 48 straight hours, and yet I know/understand why it gets shit on, and wouldn't dare proclaim to the world that Beyond Earth is a great game (even if it is.) (Which it is.) I just still have fun pressing the buttons and stuff. I dunno. |
