| You're forced to throw out everything but the new mechs/mutant stuff because the new stuff is astronomically more efficient in terms of research and construction costs. You can convert half or more of your squad with the shit in a fraction of the time it takes to research laser rifles.
And you'll need it, because the combat encounter difficulty ramps up so quickly that you're further forced to go nothing but mech/mutant shit. The new cloaking Matrix squid enemy is horrendously unfun. $40 for this light expansion pack bullshit |
