| It's sure dumb, especially locking a 4 day early release (which takes it from a Tue to a Fri btw) preorders. People got upset about that with the Portal 2 ARG which it was totally optional. Though I don't see why everyone is so eager to die on this hill, it's only more dumb preorder shit. The skins, digital art book/OST sampler, mission, and digital comic book/novella are absolutely meaningless. Particularly I saw a lot of people incensed with the idea that they actually are forced to pick just ONE skin.
Maybe release dates an incentive is always a losing choice, but the rest of the shit is pretty typical preorder shit that no one really has a reason to get upset about it. |
