Translation: One minute and five seconds of unitelligible gibberish, sort of like the intellectual content of your part of The Don Rogers Show.

But what do you think? I'll give you my opinons.

O.J. Simpson Murder Trial:
When the original verdict came down, there were two thoughts I had. First, I'm probably one of the few white people that didn't have an opinion or consider it a miscarriage of justice. All I've ever really said about his case was, "Whatever O.J. paid his lawyers, they earned every dime. Not often you can say that about a lawyer."

The second thing was that the police could go home, once the not guilty verdict was read there would be no riots. The whites might be pissed off but they wouldn't riot, the blacks no longer had a reason to riot, and anyone else who would have taken advantage of the riot could now go home because there wouldn't be enough black people rioting to get away with any serious looting.

My sister noted that she suspects that he was not really the killer, because he is a wife beater, and men who assault their women generally tend to be cowards, not the kind of person who can commit the kind of nasty killing that occurred in this case. Now, if we want to argue theories, it is entirely possible Simpson could have hired someone/others to do this. Or arrange to plant evidence to make it look like he did it in order to make it possible to show he was not the killer. Not that you could prove it either way, and there probably wouldn't be evidence, but, of course, people are always looking for conspiracy theories for things where they don't have evidence. Or where they don't have evidence for something people often say "God did it."

O.J. Simpson Armed Robbery Trial:
More and more this case makes it more likely for me to believe he didn't commit the murders because he couldn't have been this stupid in this case and still brilliantly get out of the other case.

After being acquitted in his murder trial, he should have known that he should walk on eggs for the rest of his life, because obviously if he ever did anything that even smelled like a crime, "they" - the white power structure - would come after him ("like white on rice") for thumbing his nose at them. (Whether or not he was guilty in the first case.)

He's not broke; his NFL pension of about $25,000 a month is untouchable for civil judgments, so he had plenty of money to hire private detectives or even get off duty police to go retrieve his stuff if it was stolen. Furthermore, he could probably even gotten it free, that's the police/sheriff's job, to investigate criminal cases. But no, he has to get a bunch of thugs to engage in a self-help repossession of his allegedly stolen merchandise. Or he could have had some people watch and called 9-1-1 from outside their hotel room to get the Las Vegas Police to investigate. Then get a lawyer to file for a court order to search their room. If he had knowledge of who stole his stuff that would be sufficient grounds to meet the minimum for a civil summons/court order as opposed to the higher standard for a criminal warrant.

This was really stupid, considering his, shall we say, lack of sympathy among prosecutors, for him to be involved in an act of self-help, which, since those thugs that were with him were armed, turns into a seriously stupid case of armed robbery.
