| I can't comment on the additional characters, but really DMC4 is the Dante show and he alone can carry it. This is the most complex single player brawler ever made, but also the most rewarding.
If you've not played a devil may cry before, the key to the combat system is holding down the lock-on button at all times. If you want to learn advanced DMC4 combat, check out This series of videos, except for the first one. And truth be told my venom in the original review was more due to DMC4 falling short of DMC3, not because the levels are particularly horrible compared to the industry standard. |
