| I have an income but things are pretty tight. Trying to cover my bills and stuff I owe and my GF is like, "let's get pizza" and it's hard to say no. (Is that a couplet?) But we gotta really *try* to live on a hundred bucks a week. That should be doable right? :(
Also trying to get my meds refilled. Such a pain in the ass. For reference, one of my medications is about $900 a month, the other is about $600 I think. So insurance companies are instantly losing money on me. But if Neanderthals could take care of their sick and elderly, surely we can? ;) Trying to care about Space Engineers and Fallout 4 but I haven't bought em yet and may not til summer when things get a little easier financially, I hope. Gal Civ III: Mercenaries comes out the 25th, which is near my birthday so I can probably talk someone into buying it for me. That's the game I'm playing a lot of right now, until Minecraft 1.9 comes out. I have my games, and I plays em. WHERE IS MY CANE >: [ My new company is quite a crazy place. Everything lives in the CLERD. CLERD STERAGE, CLERD E-MERL, etcetera. I get to publish desktops to people connecting with their home PCs in some cases. Infrastructure as a service! I just can't believe that most of these people don't even hit our domain controllers ever, and have had the same password for over 3 years. That'll change soon. They can make me the bad guy, I don't mind. I tell people, "it's not to punish you. If you don't want me to do this security stuff, they'll just fire me and get someone who will." and "It only LOOKS and FEELS like my job is to make your job impossible and your life miserable. My bonus is actually not based on your pain level." *mute to laugh evilly* *check to make sure it's really on mute* *laugh some more* Oh yeah, did I mention there are 9 beautiful chicks here out of 30 total people at the main office? O_O Do not tell my GF, she's already sad that I'm not around all the time anymore now that I'm working. |
