| He emerges hands upturned, eyes a bit glassy. Did he even look, or did he just go to the backroom and get high?
"Did you maybe buy it through GoG across town?" he asks. That's amazing. It had literally been plastered to Steam's user interface for at least the last two weeks. Either there is a guy who has to manually enter the Steam ID of games into their refund database (??) or they had a separate one when it's in pre-purchase mode (??!) and use a new one when it's released and..... I dunno. That's an amazing bug. That's an amazing message back. "We couldn't find the $60 game we've whored ourselves to promote for the last month." They should flag your account and put you on probation for trying to get refunds for invalid products. ICJ |
