Doom 3 is such a pretty engine, if only someone would make a game with it.
Fallout 4 has such great NPC voice acting and equipment progression and robomaking and power armor modularity and etc. If only a studio with Obsidian's narrative concern and Bethesda's development resources and the overall novelty of vision of Iron Tower or Fargo-era Interplay and TaleWorlds' grasp on fun kinetic action made a game, what a great timesink that'd be. Not likely. Whatever, I can just take care of that with a pen and paper fallout campaign. |
