So it wasn't just the game itself, it was the whole edgy milieu surrounding the Playstation and the mid/late 90's. While early psx graphics may look hideous now, running that shit on a 4:3 Sony Trinitron CRT was pure joy. Life was good. The truly overrated FF games were 8 and onwards. The spell was broken by then. |
