New books: maybe 10. Re-read old books? Maybe 5. It turns out I retain almost nothing from some of these. I'm reading The Gripping Hand again and thinking, "holy shit! I don't remember any of this." I barely remember the interesting parts of "the Fourth Part of the World" which I'm also re-reading off and on.

It's so much easier reading books now that they're all on my phone. It's awesome.
