Because you can never be reminded enough how useless Divinity School and all its attendees are.
M.Div was originally supposed to be coursework for future pastors so no thesis but credits emphasized hands-on training. When religion declined, M.Div was expanded for the "spiritual" crowd and you'll see this "degree" earned by professional clairvoyants and psychics. A lot of Christian associations don't require it anymore since it's so meaningless now.
OF COURSE it's hipster glasses and Zoe Quinn hair.
Zoltan and xir posse are completely hateable but I'm more pissed at Harvard and the system that allows this. Why are they offering this worthless class for a degree that's now used by all sorts of New Age hucksters? The federal government will go after online degree mills but let this slide and just continue to shovel more money at Harvard, which already is so rich it doesn't need to charge tuition and could still be profitable. How is their divinity school any different from ITT Tech except less TV commercials? Our current half-ass system of regulating universities is so awful I wish the government would get out entirely or demand employment/earning records for graduates of all majors and make that public for all to see along with a standardized curriculum.
