I haven't seen the latest Star Wars movie and actively avoid articles about it but, just like GoT or OITNB, I know more about this fucking series than I ever wanted to because of Disney's relentless marketing machine. I'm so bored of media that just aims and achieves 4-7/10. If the Avatar sequels are awful disasters, that might be preferable since it would at least kill the franchise on a bang unlike the slow death of Star Trek. I also liked his Titanic review since it confirmed my idea that Dicaprio isn't a good actor but he gets into some great films.
Notice by the carefully placed digital dirt and shininess on their faces that this is going to be the gritty, BSG version of Star Wars. Also, lots of Asians for the Chinese audience that will see any shit made in the US with enough explosions and dialog that's simple enough to easily sub. |
